The CMT-X5 is a result of a collaboration by Anthony Marfione and Butch Vallotton. The CMT-X5 is the new and improved version of the 1996 chameleon, one of Mr. Vallottons?? original hand made double action folders. The 2006 version has been remastered to enhanced performance and reliability. At first glance, the knife appears to be manual action but with a touch of its hidden release, this knife will snap open as an auto. Its machined 17-4 stainless liners, carbon fiber handle scales keep the weight to a minimum.  The CMT-X5 comes standard with an S30-V steel blade that will more than accomplish all necessary cutting tasks. The CMT-X5 is also available in a manual action form.
